In these weekly sessions we focus on the technique in groups of no more than 14 actors. We introduce the Meisner technique and progress into emotional preparations. We will also delve into scenes and character development as well as using long form dramatic improvisations to bring our moment-to-moment work into a more spontaneous and instinctive space.

These workshops usually take place twice a month. We ask for commitment to both Saturday and Sunday as there is a progression through the weekend and you will have a character and scene to prepare throughout the two intensive. We bring together a variety of methods to get to the true core of your character, so by the end of the weekend you are living and breathing the part and fully using your instincts to produce the most truthful and honest performance.

Our screen acting workshops take place once a month and are very popular for those wanting to learn how to use the camera to your advantage and also get to put into practice the truthful, naturalistic and instinctive work you have been honing throughout your studies. We will work on the scenes and get to the core of the characters before filming them in different ways. You will recieve copies of everything we film so you can review your progression and also obtain feedback.

Self tape auditions are an increasingly popular way for casting directors to find talent. It is imperative that this technique is understood and practiced by actors as it’s vastly different to filming on a pro set and can often take time and practise get to grips with. We run a workshop once a month to do just that. These sessions are capped at a smaller class of 12 actors to ensure you have maximum time to perfect this discipline. You also have the opportunity to work on any auditions that you are preparing to give you the best chance at booking that job.
